Mark has worked with some of the World’s largest facilities services organisations including Mitie, ISS, PHS and Homeserve. Mark was recently named one of the most influential people in field service by Field Service News.

Richard has over 25 years of experience across diverse industries. His professional journey began in electronics and software engineering positions at technology companies, where he developed a strong technical foundation. Richard later transitioned into product management and product marketing, leveraging his broad expertise to drive successful go-to-market strategies and oversee the complete product life cycle. Since joining Planon in 2020, Richard has played a vital role in key strategic initiatives and product launches.

Andy Waters is a Strategic Business Partner for Enterprise Software at Schneider Electric, where he designs Software Solutions for the Built Environment and Smart Buildings. With experience spanning the Electrical Trades, BMS engineering and deployment, and global smart building projects, Andy specialises in turning complex building data into business value. An Australian now based in the UK and completing his MBA, he is a recognised expert in bridging operational technology with strategic enterprise goals.

Billal Vindhani is a seasoned leader in the smart buildings and IoT space, with nearly two decades of experience spanning software, hardware, and building management systems. With a background in Internet Computing, he combines deep technical expertise with a proven track record in business development and sales leadership. He currently works as Director of Business Development for UK & EMEA at Clockworks Analytics, helping to optimize building energy and equipment performance through fault detection and diagnostics (FDD).

Billal began his career at Schneider Electric, advancing through sales leadership roles before founding an IoT start-up. He built a partner and SI network across Europe and the Middle East, working with global clients such as Honeywell, Endress+Hauser, and CBRE.

He later joined Honeywell as European Business Development Director, leading SaaS and IoT sales across key verticals. At Johnson Controls, he launched OpenBlue in the UK&I and led the Digital and BMS sales team. At Spacewell, he served as UK&I Country Manager, driving channel and enterprise growth.

Matthew Marson is an experienced leader, working at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and the built environment. Having founded WSP’s Smart Places practice and grown Accenture’s offering in this field, Matthew led a €100m business across a range of asset types and geographies.

Marson was named as the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Young Engineer of the Year 2022 and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Young Visionary 2016 for his contributions to the global Smart Buildings industry.

As a recognised thought leader, Matthew is a keynote speaker at international industry events related to emerging technology and places at the building and city scales. He is the author of the Smart Building Advantage, a seminal book that explores the return on investment for technology in the built environment.

Bradley Beighton is Senior Technical Architect at Ricoh Europe, heading up a cross-functional team responsible for web, API, and infrastructure development within the RICOH Spaces SaaS platform. He oversees the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions across multiple regions, ensuring the platform meets the demands of enterprise customers worldwide.

In his role, Bradley drives technical strategy and execution for key workplace experience initiatives, including Mission Control — a SaaS command centre that unifies occupancy, asset health, and service KPIs — and the Workplace of Things, a universal asset fabric that transforms how organisations monitor and manage their environments.

With over 10 years experience spanning product management, cloud engineering, and workplace technology, Bradley combines deep technical expertise with a proven track record in building high-performing teams. His work focuses on integrating data, AI, and enterprise systems to deliver seamless workplace experiences, reduce operational friction, and enable proactive decision-making for customers.

Jo joined Sodexo to compliment the development of best practice Hard FM in the UK&I region. She is responsible for promoting, programme managing and embedding best practice in maintenance and technical services internally and representing Sodexo as a technical authority externally. Earlier this year Jo was recognised at the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) 2022 awards with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution title for regularly giving her time and expertise freely without seeking any personal gain for the sole purpose of making buildings perform better and to create opportunities for all engineers.
Jo was previously a Business Manager and subject matter expert in facilities management and maintenance at BSRIA. She lead a team of consultants and researchers that provided the technical expertise on the built environment and was responsible for authoring best practice guides in Facilities Management including Business Focused Maintenance, Asset Management and Maintenance Audits and Condition Surveys and Asset Data Capture.

Mazen Kandil is a Regional Energy and Sustainability Engineer with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, bringing a strong technical foundation into the rapidly evolving world of smart buildings. Early experience in managing building systems highlighted the challenges of traditional maintenance approaches, leading to a transition into smart technologies and data-driven solutions.

At Sodexo, he has been a driving force in moving from conventional condition-based maintenance towards predictive, data-led strategies. This has involved implementing smart metering, condition monitoring, and advanced asset analytics to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance sustainability across large and complex estates.

Imtee Baksh is a business and technical professional with extensive experience in smart building solutions, energy management systems, and unified automation technologies. With more than 20 years of experience as a professional engineer, Imtee has worked extensively with both custom mechanical HVAC equipment and building automation systems. Lucas is a digital trailblazer within the built environment industry and has a well-established career working in Building Information Management (BIM) and the rapidly evolving digital twin market.

Before joining Glider, Lucas held roles in the development, design, construction and operation of large, real estate assets within the UK and Europe.

Lucas developed his first ‘digital twin’ in 2013 by leading the development of a software solution and working with existing vendors and suppliers to change their current ways of working to adopt a new, more efficient way of handing over information from construction to operations.

After holding BIM Management roles in design, construction and then operation, Lucas moved into the tech space seeking to improve on the existing tools and influence what he believed would be the best way to manage and exploit built asset information in the operational phase of assets.

Prior to joining Glider, Lucas established the European business for a well known digital twin technology company and spent 4 years working closely with some of the world’s largest asset owners and property managers to connect their buildings, processes and business goals with built asset data via digital twins.

Adam is a Global Director, Strategic Insights at JLL. Andre has been with JLL for over 6 years and joined JLL Spark in May 2020 as Growth Principle for EMEA, previous to this role Andre was Head of technology for JLL’s engineering business in EMEA.
