Protect Your Data

• We never sell your data: Smart Buildings Show does not share or sell attendee or exhibitor lists to third parties.
• Ignore suspicious emails: If you receive an email offering to sell you event attendee data, it is a scam. Delete it immediately and do not engage.

Warning: Accommodation Scams

There have been reports of within the events industry of accommodation scams, we will not phone you with accommodation deals. Our deals will be published on the website, or in our manuals; if we do contact you it will be by email and the contact domain will be revamailer.com -  our marketing email partner.

Warning: Exhibition Directory Scams

Be cautious of entities—such as International Fairs Directory (IFD), Inter-Fairs, Expo-Guide, Fairguide, or Construct Data—that contact you via email, post, or phone regarding exhibition listings.

The Scam: These companies use misleading forms that appear to be associated with our event. They often ask you to "verify" your company details for a free listing.

The Trap: Signing or returning these forms often commits you to a multi-year, high-cost advertising contract.

Action Required:

1. Do not sign or return any forms unless you have directly verified them with the official Smart Buildings Show team.
2. Alert your team: Ensure staff responsible for opening mail or managing "info@" inboxes are aware of these fraudulent solicitations.
3. Do not pay: If you receive an invoice from these entities, do not pay. They provide no legitimate service.
