This session will show how building operators can move from energy auditing to actionable analytics to reduce energy use, carbon emissions and operational cost. Drawing on real project experience, AIS BMS will outline a practical three-step approach: audit building performance, investigate control and HVAC issues, and manage ongoing improvement through data, rules-based analytics and FM workflow integration. Attendees will learn where to start, how to identify savings opportunities, and how smarter controls and performance monitoring can improve comfort, resilience and long-term building efficiency.

Jonathan Webb is a Chartered Engineer with over 15 years’ experience delivering energy, carbon and optimisation programmes across major estates and complex infrastructure, bringing deep expertise in M&E performance analysis, digital optimisation, Net Zero strategy development and large scale programme management. His background includes leading award winning optimisation solutions, managing decarbonisation programmes for clients such as Aviva, PwC, BNP Paribas, LandSec and NHS Trusts, and overseeing complex sustainability initiatives requiring detailed engineering insight and stakeholder coordination. Jonathan brings to AIS BMS a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to improve building performance through data driven decision making, innovative controls strategies and collaborative delivery with FM, engineering and project teams.
