Russell joined Vodafone 2 years ago and has been working with the rapidly growing IoT.nxt team ever since. Russell’s main focus within Vodafone Group is to raise the profile of Digital Buildings both internally and externally with customers and partners supporting complex opportunities ranging from critical national infrastructure projects to people & wellbeing led business improvement. Russell is passionate about change and how Vodafone’s capabilities can contribute to a better future for all including protecting the environment through smarter energy usage and carbon reduction and projects improving health and wellbeing for colleagues customers and partners.

Russell has extensive experience in delivering business change having started his career in the automotive industry as an operational improvement consultant working with companies like Jaguar Land Rover McLaren HSS and many more. He quickly adapted these skills to tech and IoT and became a major contributor to the operational set-up of the UK’s national smart meter rollout. Before joining Vodafone he was Head of Operations at Arkessa one of the UKs largest privately owned IoT connectivity providers.
