Lucas Cusack

Lucas is a digital trailblazer within the built environment industry and has a well-established career working in Building Information Management (BIM) and the rapidly evolving digital twin market.

Before joining Glider, Lucas held roles in the development, design, construction and operation of large, real estate assets within the UK and Europe.

Lucas developed his first ‘digital twin’ in 2013 by leading the development of a software solution and working with existing vendors and suppliers to change their current ways of working to adopt a new, more efficient way of handing over information from construction to operations.

After holding BIM Management roles in design, construction and then operation, Lucas moved into the tech space seeking to improve on the existing tools and influence what he believed would be the best way to manage and exploit built asset information in the operational phase of assets.

Prior to joining Glider, Lucas established the European business for a well known digital twin technology company and spent 4 years working closely with some of the world’s largest asset owners and property managers to connect their buildings, processes and business goals with built asset data via digital twins.

At Glider, Lucas leads our go to market strategy for asset owners, steering our product and services offering into tangible solutions for asset owners to leverage their data through smart building technologies, digital twins and artificial intelligence.
