Andrew is the Co-Director for Industrial Decarbonisation and Emissions Trading which looks to support industry and commercial and public sector buildings to cut their energy bills and reduce their carbon emissions. He has worked on Net Zero for over 5 years including working on the UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS), setting up a number of industrial capital funds worth over £1bn; was responsible for over £800mpa of tax relief for industrial sectors; and led the CCUS Track one project selection, securing £20bn funding for these clusters, and launched Track 2. Andrew has worked with Ministers and Whitehall in central control departments (the Houses of Parliament and Cabinet Office) and in spending delivery departments (DfES, DfT and BEIS); and in both international (with Baroness Amos as the PM’s Representative to Africa and DfID) and domestic sectors (DfES, Cabinet Office, DfT and DESNZ).
