Andre Bothma

André is the Managing Director of Energy and Smart Engineering at Bellrock Group, where he leads a team of specialist energy and reliability engineering consultants, data scientists, and analysts. Their focus is on digitising and optimising traditional facilities management processes, offering customers valuable insights on planner + reactive work order, supply chain data as well as carbon reduction and Net Zero strategies.
He also serves as a Venture Partner at UK REACH, evaluating early-stage technology start-ups from Europe entering the UK market. Additionally, André is a Board Member of the UK PropTech Association, where he plays an active role in advancing the digital transformation of the property industry.

Previously, André made notable contributions at JLL, where he established smart building services that have since become global, digital, and dynamic solutions. By leveraging a virtual bureau team in combination with AI-driven technology and IoT systems, he delivered significant improvements in operational efficiency and energy management. Subsequently, André joined JLL Spark, where he was instrumental in managing a $400 million corporate venture fund, overseeing investment in more than 55 start-ups, and holding several board positions. In these roles, he ensured alignment with internal technology strategies, engaged with business stakeholders, mentored early-stage technology companies, and drove strategic growth. Andre also spent 11 Years at MITIE Group working his way from HVAC Engineer to Director leading teams of over 280 for Hard and Soft services.
