In the age of triple‑digit heatwaves and grid emergencies, multifamily buildings are on the front lines of one of the biggest challenges in energy: meeting the rising demands of an increasingly volatile grid while ensuring resident safety and comfort.
In this session, Parity’s CEO, Brad Pilgrim, will unpack how Grid‑Interactive Efficient Buildings (GEBs) are transforming from a future concept into a practical, revenue‑generating strategy for owners and operators, drawing on insights from Parity’s latest white paper. Brad will break down:
-What GEBs are, and why automating your HVAC systems is one of the fastest ways to make your building grid‑ready.
- Why demand response events are increasing - from climate‑driven extreme weather to skyrocketing data‑center and AI‑related loads, and what this means for property owners and operators.
- How demand response events impact multifamily properties - from building operations to resident experience and long‑term asset performance.
- A real‑world case study - hear how a multifamily operator used automation to turn a grid emergency into an operational and financial win.
Whether you’re a property manager, asset owner, or sustainability leader, this talk will share unparalleled insights into the new normal of grid volatility and how you can unlock savings and revenue along the way.
