Iain is a qualified electrician, technician and KNX Tutor with over 31 years of experience. He has been actively involved in the promotion of KNX technologies in the UK since 2007 and is current Chair of KNX UK.

Throughout his years working with and representing KNX at a national and international level, Iain has presented countless talks on many associated subjects and moderated panels in the Smart technology sector.

Graham Martin

EnOcean Alliance

Graham is a veteran in the microelectronics industry with over 40 years experience in wireless solutions at various Engineering, Sales and Marketing positions in USA, GB, Germany, Austria and Norway. He founded the EnOcean Alliance in 2007 to create an open standard for energy harvesting powered wireless solutions for smart buildings. Before joining EnOcean he was a pioneer in low power wireless sensor networks at Chipcon, Texas Instruments and austriamicrosystems. Graham studied in USA and GB and is a Physics Graduate from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Thomas Kurowski

BACnet Interest Group Europe, Siemens

Thomas Kurowski is President of the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) and serves as Technical Regulation and Standardization Manager at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

A passionate advocate for open standards, he plays a key role in global initiatives. As a voting member of the ASHRAE SSPC 135 BACnet Committee and expert at CEN TC 247, Thomas is instrumental in shaping the future of BACnet to ensure seamless system interoperability.

His dedication also extends into the IoT space, where he is Vice President of the European Region for the Thread Group.

Thomas is a sought-after speaker on emerging trends like cyber-secure BACnet/SC and the growing importance of smart automation in driving sustainability.

With deep technical knowledge and a clear vision, he connects innovation to real-world impact.
