Reimagining Building Controls From Static Setpoints to Adaptive Environments

Thursday 16th October 11:45 - 12:20

Controls & Networks Theatre

Traditional building controls were designed for fixed schedules and predictable use. But today’s hybrid workplaces need responsive environments. This session explores how decentralised controls are replacing legacy setpoints. We’ll look at adaptive lighting, ventilation, and climate systems informed by real time occupancy and comfort data. A short example will show the opportunities bGrid sees in an enabled intelligent control layer to deliver both energy savings and a better occupant experience.
