The end of the MSI?

Thursday 16th October 10:35 - 11:10

Controls & Networks Theatre

The role of the MSI has evolved from the early days of BMS systems integration, through high level interfaces and now, schema's, tagging, and independent data layers.. At Tyrrell we believe the writing is on the wall for the MSI role in new build and fit out alike. Using AI to automatically tag data points is already shrinking the size of such projects, and new plant controllers coming out "cloud ready", will it be long before the systems themselves become the independent data layer?
