Workplaces are becoming more complex than ever. From AV systems and printers to lockers, sensors, and even furniture, every organisation is managing a growing estate of assets that employees rely on daily. When these assets fail, the impact is immediate: lost productivity, rising service costs, and a poor employee experience. Traditional approaches to asset management and issue resolution are too siloed, too reactive, and too slow.
This session will introduce a new way of thinking where asset management isn’t just about keeping an inventory, but about creating a living, breathing digital fabric of the workplace. We’ll explore how Ricoh’s Workplace of Things (WoT) and Mission Control bring all workplace assets and data streams together into one ecosystem, turning passive information into proactive action.
Delegates will discover how:
- Assets of all types, from smart devices to “dumb” furniture can be auto-discovered, geo-located, and continuously monitored for health and utilisation.
- Predictive maintenance, AI-assisted resolution, and telemetry-driven insights drastically cut mean time to resolve (MTTR) and reduce operational costs.
- Mission Control serves as the cockpit for facilities, IT, and workplace leaders, fusing live occupancy, energy, and asset data into a single, configurable console.
- Real-world examples show how organisations have turned asset pain points into opportunities for efficiency, sustainability, and even revenue growth.
Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of how to move beyond reactive service models to a proactive, AI-driven workplace where issues are solved before they’re even noticed. Whether you’re an IT leader, facilities manager, or service provider, this session will show you how to unlock the full potential of your workplace through unified asset management and Mission Control.
