Bill is the founder of Novacene, a revolutionary platform that simplifies how buildings can achieve carbon reduction targets and start their path to net zero. With over 15 years of experience in engineering, surveying, and consulting, Bill has a strong background in applied mathematics, digital twins, smart cities, and sustainable living.
Bill’s journey began as an engineer at the London 2012 Olympics, where he developed a proof of concept for a secure and scalable IoT platform that later became Asset Mapping, a successful company that powers multiple smart building solutions. However, Bill realised that the technology needed to go deeper to truly address the challenges facing our planet, cities, and unconnected buildings. This led Bill to found Novacene in 2021, with a vision to create the next-generation platform that combines live, accurate, and curated data with proper science and mathematics to produce measurable savings and reports for the "E" of ESG. At Novacene, we're not just creating technology, but shaping the future of building performance.
