In today’s world, digitalisation and networking are simplifying our lives and adding greater convenience. Technology is constantly changing for the better, and it is not without purpose, helping to enhance the value of any home and make everyday life just that little bit more comfortable and secure.
Smart devices in the home can operate to manage the efficiency of individual services (heating, hot water, lighting, assisted living etc.). The role of automation is key and can ensure consumers maintain comfort in their home while reducing energy costs and peak demand. This seminar considers home automation and covers: Why a smart home? Lighting and automation; lamps and motors; heating; audio.
At the end of the seminar, participants will have examined:

Chris has over 30 years of industry experience in the consumer and home electronics sector on both the manufacturing and retail sides of the industry, previously working for leading companies such as Samsung and Dixons Retail Group, prior to his current role with Legrand Electric Ltd.
Chris joined Legrand in 2017 and his focus on Business Development has seen him working with Specifiers, Developers and Contractors using his vast experience to help provide technology solutions for various types of control including heating/cooling, lighting, door entry and entertainment.
Chris firmly believes in gaining a good understanding of his clients’ business, and by combining a strong commercial background with a career working with technology to provide the best solutions he is able to help his customers ensure the buildings they create meet the technical expectations of the people who live and work in them.
Married with two daughters he enjoys spending time with his family but when allowed to, you will find him on the golf course!
