This theatre will focus on the intrinsic links between workspaces, wellbeing, networks, connectivity and power.

Commercial buildings owners and operators are being asked to make their buildings flexible, healthy and productive for their employees.

This theatre will look at the management of commercial buildings and how the work environment can affect performance, how people strategy and building infrastructure collide.

Claire Curran

Managing Director


Claire is a passionate, award winning senior leader, with a MBA and HND in Business and a finance qualification, currently studying to become an electrical engineer . She has over 25 years of industry experience from the grass roots.

In 2020 she was awarded "Overall Champion" at Barclays Women in the City Rising Stars awards and has in recent years also held the "FM Excellence in Major Project" award with the IWFM and "Leader of the year" in the construction awards.

Claire also is avid contributor to industry magazines, a regular public speaker and popular panel and award judge.

As BESAs Vice President she is passionate about the industry as a whole, with a particular fondness of the education and technical committees; keen to aid in shaping our industries technical standards and supporting engineers careers.

Day to day as Managing Director of Linaker, a national specialist building services partner, with over 29 years experience, Claire has seen the business treble in size and achieved the accolade of on the top 5 fastest growing businesses in sector in 2020. Claire's love of team shines through

At home Claire is a proud Mummy of three, who has a love of Marvel and Starwars, gadgets, cars and shoes. She is also known for a good love a great Lemon drizzle cake.
